The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, has come under fire once again for blaming an increase in the number of incidences of sexual violence on the way women dress in the nation. "If a woman is dressed in only a few pieces of clothing, it will have an effect on the men, unless they are robots. It's just basic sense, right"

These comments made by Imran Khan in an interview with Axios journalist Jonathan Swan. His comments sparked widespread uproar on social media, with opposition leaders and journalists voicing their displeasure with the misogynistic ideology.

A Twitter user posted a video Interview, where Imran Khan made comment on obscenity and temptation.

Imran Khan made similar comments in an interview with Geo News earlier this year, he said that sexual violence was a product of ‘obscenity,' which he defined as a Western import. The concept of purdah is based on staying away from temptation and recommended women cover their bodies to avoid the temptation.
